Still in Sydney. Great town, reminds me of Chicago a bit. MachineBoy, now 5 1/2 months old, is really starting to interact with his environment. He sees things, tracks moving objects really well, grunges(combination grab and lunge) for items that take his interest, reacts to sounds made by things outside his line of sight... he loves Australia, loves the chilly air, is absolutely fascinated by everything.
We were in a shopping mall the other day and two elderly ladies passed us. He smiled a big smile at them and [redacted] heard one lady say 'He must be five or six months old'. The other agreed and said 'They're so sweet at that age, you just want to suck on them!'

You've always needed a good eye if you wanted to make a splash in design. You also had to be in New York, Paris, Berlin, or some other design capital to feel the vibe, let alone add to it.
