Greetings and Salutations!

Welcome to the longest-running* yet least-read** blog on the internet! Here you'll find me writing about all the things that I write about, which strikes me, just now, as somewhat recursive. In any case, enjoy :)

New Story: Fade Into You

I've just completed my first time travel story. Would anyone like to beta read it?  : )

I would be honoured to read your work. I know how frustrating it is when you put your heart and soul into a writing project and no-one seems to bother giving feedback.

So please let me know how I get to read your beta work :)

Regards,

Mark

Natch! I am surprised and shocked and mortified that it wasn't on my cyberdesk last week! :-) I am quite prepared to knock a couple bucks your way for anything you do. Coffee shop consultation this weekend?

Irrelevant but there is an awesome track named Fade Into You by Mazzy Star. :)

Hi Mark! I'd be pleased n happy for you to take a look if you have the time. You can email me at mcclungmike(at)yahoo(dot)com, and I'll email you back along with the story attached. And of course I'll return the favor if you like.

E@l- as a beta reader, you get to tear my work apart for free :) I'll print it out and meet you at coffee bean suntec on Saturday afternoon, if you're free?

bB- actually, the story is named after that song, so extremely relevant :)

Would be delighted to give feedback, let me know: david.l.shutter@gmail.

Novel I'm working on has time travel elements so am reading a lot of related stories these days.

I know that pain. Hell, I just got an e-mail back from a graphic artist I found online; "Nah, I don't feel like getting paid to do a cover."

Took me months to find an artist with the "look" I want. Ugh.

Ant- sounds good to me. Should be free by 5

Dave- I've been lucky in having an acquaintance who's a graphic designer and whose sensibilities are in line with my own. I also dabble a bit, so simple covers can sometimes get done at home

@David L.
People like that do not deserve to be in business. I hope your search bears fruit soon, sir.

Mike, the reading continues - you could be onto a winner here... but I'll say no more... for now ;)

Good news actually, I'm so in love with this one artists style that I kept at her and she agreed. I think I'm gonna get a sweet price too.

Mike M: I'm still interested in giving a Beta read, let me know. david.l.shutter@gmail.com
