Greetings and Salutations!

Welcome to the longest-running* yet least-read** blog on the internet! Here you'll find me writing about all the things that I write about, which strikes me, just now, as somewhat recursive. In any case, enjoy :)

Cover Reveal #1: The NEW Thief Who Pulled on Trouble's Braids

So as you folks know, the Amra Thetys series has been picked up by Ragnarok Publications and will be re-released this year. It'll be available to bookstores and libraries and suchlike, even!

As part of this new chapter in the life of the series, the books have gotten a new cover treatment, thanks to Shawn King, cover designer extraordinaire!

Here is the new cover for "Trouble's Braids" just to give you a taste :)

The new cover looks fantastic, Michael! Do you have a release date yet?

Not yet! The first three are supposed to be re-released before the fourth, and the fourth is scheduled for some time in the fall. I'm also waiting to find out when exactly :)

When you first mentioned they would be published in the fall (some time ago), I thought you meant fall 2015! I am not the patient type but I will try and survive another 9-10 months;)

Oh, at the time, they *were* scheduled for re-release in October 2015. But then my new publisher, Ragnarok Publications, secured a distribution deal with IPG to get Ragnarok titles into bricks and mortar stores, libraries etc. So the date was pushed back, twice. You can read about it here:

Self publishing allows for greater control, of course, but distribution options are severely limited when it comes to print. I weighed the pros and cons and decided to stick with Ragnarok.

If you'd like, I'd be happy to get you an advance reader's copy. Just email me at mcclungmike (at) yahoo (dot) com :)

I'm sorry I didn't reply to your comment sooner, Michael, but the notification for this post ended up in my spam folder.

I think signing up with Ragnarok was a great move on your part, Michael. You'll get a lot more publicity and your books will be widely distributed, so it's all for the best despite the delay being pushed back.

I think I'm already on your list for the ARC (you sent me book 4 last September) and if not, no problem. I'll be more than happy to buy the book when it's released:)
