Greetings and Salutations!

Welcome to the longest-running* yet least-read** blog on the internet! Here you'll find me writing about all the things that I write about, which strikes me, just now, as somewhat recursive. In any case, enjoy :)

and water is wet, fire burns, babies poop their pants...

Soap operas might not be the best authority on comas. Okay guys, I know it's Christmas eve and all, but surely there's some news somewhere that actually deserves to be reported. How about that whole 'President is spying on Americans' thing?

Have a wonderful nondenominational day, and hopefully when you're sitting around the holiday tree, singing songs on this silent night, regular night, about a random infant born in a barnbox to a mother of undetermined age and ethnicity, you and your family will feel the true spirit of the holidays.

However TV shows are the best place if you are going to require cardioversion with a defibrillator (electric shock to restart your heart). TV shows and movies have a success rate of like 90%, whereas in real hospitals it is more like 10%. MORAL: if you're going to have a heart attack, have it in a TV studio.

p.s. when a certain (now late) Australian media mogul FIRST died back in 1990, one newspaper reported that they revived him with an "infundibulator" - No wonder he woke up: that's the weapon used to fold the foreskin over the glans for a baby's circumcision...

Wonder if it works for the flu as well?
