Greetings and Salutations!

Welcome to the longest-running* yet least-read** blog on the internet! Here you'll find me writing about all the things that I write about, which strikes me, just now, as somewhat recursive. In any case, enjoy :)

Oh My!

Looks like some anonymous person has stolen my idea and set up a Singapore Blog Award site! how shameles of them! Oh, and look, they're also asking for other people to participate! Terrible, I tell you. You should go over there and scold them!

I hope this is a serious web-awards thingummy, because I am not a fan of flippancy and non-seriousness.

i'm not sure when the award started, but it was already in existence last year. so technically, no one stole your idea.

actually i've been thinking of organising something similar for quite some time, just never had the chance to implement it.

and what is the point of organising such as this without any prizes (we need sponsors).

if you're interested we could probably work something out as with my domain, I could possibly set up a system replicating bloggies, weblog awards. singapore version.

drop me an email ya?

oh don't worry. I was just letting off some steam on my blog. I don't bite...hard.

I was reading your post on tomorrow...and to say you are "just" a permanent resident really does yourself disservice. You're more Singaporean than some Singaporeans (like me). and that's a compliment. sometimes I think permanent residents are more Singaporean in that they actually chose to be Singaporean...you know...not just...by default. kinda. sorta.
